Applications are underway for the HSE International Olympiad (HSE INTO), which is now available in Russian, English, and French. Winners of this competition can study at HSE University for free. Admission to Russia's first Master of Computer Vision online programme at HSE University has been extended until 20th September. The programme will be delivered entirely in English and has been developed by HSE researchers and leading experts from Huawei, Itseez3D, Intel, Harman, and Xperience.ai, who are all involved in cutting-edge research in the field of computer vision.
HSE University and Northern Caucasus Resorts Open Registration for ‘Rediscovering Russia’ Expeditions
HSE University together with Northern Caucasus Resorts with the support of the ‘Russia – Land of Opportunity’ platform have launched a series of research and practical expeditions in the North Caucasus as part of the All-Russian project ‘Rediscovering Russia’. They aim to attract young researchers to find solutions to some of the urgent problems hindering the region’s economic development.

HSE University experts took part in ‘Rental Housing—Development Opportunities’, a session at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia. They discussed how to create a transparent rental housing market and talked about the system of rental housing for HSE students.
EEF-2022: Asian Countries in the Arctic Dialogue
The Eastern Economic Forum took place place in Vladivostok. The participants of the ‘Eastern Dimension of International Cooperation in the Arctic’ session stated that joint research will help to find mutual understanding between the circumpolar states and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. Applications for Competition of Innovations in Education Are Open
The HSE Institute of Education is the main organizer of the international Competition of Innovations in Education. In addition to the Russian track, the competition is also being held in Kazakhstan, as well as in Armenia and Georgia. Applications are open online until October 21st, 2022. The overall winner will receive an educational grant, while the category winners will receive prizes from our partner organisations.

HSE University and Sberbank Charitable Foundation Sign Cooperation Agreement
On September 8th, 2022, HSE University signed a cooperation agreement with the Sberbank Charitable Foundation ‘Investment to the Future’ as part of the Moscow Financial Forum. The agreement was signed by Nikolay Berzon, Director of the Federal Methodology Centre for Financial Literacy in Primary and Secondary Education, and Pyotr Polozhevets, Executive Director of the Foundation.
HSE University Hosts Third Summer School on Machine Learning in Bioinformatics
Between August 23rd and 25th, the HSE Faculty of Computer Science held its annual summer school on machine learning in bioinformatics. After two years of being held online, the school returned to an offline format for this year. Over three days, more than 120 participants attended lectures and seminars by leading experts in the field from institutions such as HSE University, Skoltech, AIRI, MSU, MIPT, Genotek, and Sber Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
